Aayla Secura on defense

Description

Here again, not a full picture... it seems the photographs either never understanf that I want this for archives, or it is I who looks awfull on the potentially good ones. Anyway, this is my Aayla Secura costume. This picture is again taken by my dear love. This was taken while the Alliance Imperiale were parading for a french Quebec tv show called Les Francs-Tireurs.
The Belt was made by the same friend that made the Bariss' belt. The pants were given to me, but the top I did without patron. The lekkus, that's what those appendices on my head are called, were made on a five months period with a lot of latex applied on filled nylon socks. I also sew the vinyl headpiece on the lekkus. This takes a lot of makeup.

Credits for the character goes to Duursema and Ostrander, SW comic's writer and artist, and Lucasfilm, and the original costume was based on the comic character and adapted for Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith by Trisha Beggar, the costume designer.
