Here is the winner of my first ever held contest !

You know what ? My contests aren't popular I think I'll never hold another one again.

What more is that the only four participants were my friends ! I was happy, unfortunately this made the choice so hard to make

So I decided that every one of them would get a little something.

With With one of her own picture, Gen made a beautiful medieval pic, with a kind of traditionnal painting look. I loved the setting !

Ok guys…. First time I will do this. Here’s the story :

I wanted to give a 3 months Premium membership to for her birthday. It was going to be a surprise, but then, on the day of her birthday, I found out that she had just paid for a 12 months membership ! So I felt that it would be weird just to add that.

Still, I’d like to donate a 3 months membership.

And I got this new cool photo of me in my most popular costume (Tanwen Medieval Celt vert dress). But it was taken on a red background for a professionnal photoshoot. And I’d love to have something done with it.

So here it is, this is a simple contest, a kind of narcissic one, but I’m bad as hell with photomanip…. And I don’t like the red background.

So I’ve uploaded this pic. " Tanwen ".

Yeah, I know.... an edit so soon.

Well, I had to say that even if it really is because I'd like to see my costume in a beautiful image, I am a little shy to do a contest with my own little face as a part of the contest.

So I read this journal [link] from and now I think it's ok. Then, let's do this correctly:

1. Who are you?

Marie-Ange (my nickname but also real second name). Who is she really ? A dreamer, stressed for anything but happy about anything. Nothing is black or white. Anything else ? I got a big mouth. You'll learn a lot by looking at my journals and profile page

2. What is your artistic passion?

I love writing and reading. Those can make me imagine so many things, reflect on philosophy and so many apsects of life, even imagine great costumes ! If those come down to reading pragmatic journals, articles or books, it might even give me artisans crafts ideas, which are my second passion.

3. Why did you get into art?

Answering that question would need me to go back to moments in my life I was too young to remember.

4. How do you inspire yourself

My own imagery, emotions, abstract concepts, dreams sometimes movies and books, definitely music all the time.

5. Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years.

I would like to work in my field, maybe on my way to finish my thesis for my master degree that I had to stop last year, but take life smoothly with the love of my life, and work on my arts, specially my writing. the aimj is to eventually be a writer but... will I have the readers to do that ?

Who knows ? I'm working on that
